What does the resurrection of Christ mean for me?
The resurrection of Christ is the single most important event in all of human history. It is the very heart of of the gospel message. It is the good news. The resulting resurrection life we can live is a life of power and peace, of strength and joy. It all began that first Easter morning.
Have you ever wondered why the stone was rolled away that morning? Afterall, the resurrected Jesus had the ability to walk through walls. He could have just walked through that rock and shown himself. Nevertheless, the stone was rolled away. It was rolled away so that those first disciples could see in. It was removed so that you and I could see in.
Jesus understood the lifechanging effect that empty tomb would have on all of us. It means the difference between life and death. Choose life.
