Bro. Rodney has been pastor of Macedonia since April 2015. He is married to Beverly Messer Peavy and together they have four adopted kids ages 24 down to 15 years old named Christian, Carlos, Tosha and Joshua respectively. Only Joshua still lives at home. They also have two grandsons, Angel and Tristan. The youngest, Tristan currently lives with them and is often seen grinning and gracing the aisles of Macedonia. Along with the kids and grandkids are three dogs named Argos, Sadie and Tozer and a small flock of chickens. Along with pastoring, preaching, teaching and writing, Bro. Rodney enjoys painting and loves the outdoors. He spends much of his time in the woods around his home and playing in the creek. Bro Rodney has a Master's Degree in Theological Studies, Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education, and two Associate's Degrees. Also, Bro. Rodney received and Honorary Doctorate in 2010. Along with being an incredible and tireless mother and grandmother, Beverly is an elementary school teacher and enjoys baking and crafts, particularly crocheting.
